The Prayer

Everyday morning I close my eyes and chant a few prayers which I have learnt during my childhood days. My parents insisted that we should remember the Mighty Lord Almighty every day. Thank him for all the blessings we are receiving from HIM. It is HE who provides and protects us.

Even in school we began our day with prayers, a march past, speech by either Headmistress or Head girl which followed by National Anthem. Till date all schools follow more or less the same practice. I always wondered why they subjected us to such disciplined routine, whereas we could straight head towards our classrooms, enjoy chitchatting with our classmates and begin our lessons. We should really thank them for inculcating the thought of Almighty, learn self-confidence, team spirit and also develop a sense of national pride.

In my opinion we should follow the routine of remembering the Almighty even at workplaces before we begin our work. It could be done very silently in our minds. Prayers spread positivity.

Life experience is varied. It can lead us to many twists and turns. The experience can churn our stomach and make our heart pop out of our mouth just like a roller coaster ride. We face lots of competition, jealousy, confusions, obstacles, personal attacks etc. in our day to day life.

I am an Auditor by profession and we are taught about sampling techniques. If sample size selected for Audit is small as compared to the total population, the Audit observation could be skewed.

Here too I apply my Audit sampling technique and strangely that works. Even Auditing techniques can lead us to spirituality. During tumultuous times I just close my eyes and PRAY. I introspect and seek divine interference. Most of the times I find solutions.

PRAYER is a simple realization, that we are just a tiny speck in the whole creation of GOD. The things that trouble us are even more tinier. Hence, even according to Audit conclusion there is no need to give much importance to the petty troubles of life.

Basic foundation lessons may seem difficult when they are taught, yet they find their place in life at a later stage PRAYERS are the seeds we sow in our heart. It slowly germinates and the blessings of Almightly comes in the form of flowering trees. The process is very slow yet sure.

Begin your day with a sincere PRAYER
